Walkability Workshop

Based on national goals to enhance active living, to promote livable communities and to ensure quality of life for seniors and all citizens, AARP and the Walkable and Livable Communities Institute (WALC) have developed a module for a day-long active living workshop that engages communities in making their streets and neighborhoods more walkable.

Larimer County was chosen as the only area in the state to receive this intensive workshop training, walking audit and community presentation.  PAFC Health and Wellness Priority Group, members chose Loveland for this workshop which was held  September 29, 2015.  On January 27, 2016 there was a public presentation of this study.  Click here to read or download the study results.
